I saved the latest version but would like to recover an older version of the existing PSD file or be able to open the one that I see in the recent list. Using Photoshop cc. Adobe-photoshop creative-cloud file. While I wholeheartedly encourage you to enjoy the new features of Photoshop CC I do recommend that you keep an earlier version of Photoshop on your computer. Then, you'll have access to Picture Package and the Pixel Bender feature (once you install them) and a fallback position if you get locked out of your software unexpectedly. Best video player app without ads. I spent ages and ages working on a multi-layered picture in photoshop, i saved it regularly in case my computer crashed and stuff. At one point i decided to combine all the layers to do something, then i planned on simply doing ctrl + z or going back into the history when i was finished. But i forgot about it and saved the picture (over writing the last save) and closed photoshop.
